Cotton batting ornaments were made in the late 1800's by cottage craftsmen of the Saxon Thuringian area of Germany. What made them irresistible was their individuality. Each one has it's own personality. They were also quite affordable.

In the last few years old batting ornaments have substantially increased in value. I use many of the techniques used by the original makers. Some of the batting ornaments I make are copies of old ornaments, and some are my own creations. I have been making batting ornaments since 1992 and hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them. Please remember faces may vary due to availability.
